Privacy policy

The data controller is FP SPORT EVENTS.

The data collected includes, in particular, identification information, profile data, published content, usage data and technical data.

This data is processed to operate the service, ensure its security, improve the user experience and produce statistics.

Processing is based on the performance of the contract, the user's consent or the legitimate interest of FP SPORT EVENTS.

Data may be processed by technical service providers acting as processors, in particular Supabase for hosting and the database, Vercel for hosting the application, and OneSignal for managing notifications.

Some data may be transferred outside the European Union. In that case, appropriate safeguards are put in place in accordance with the GDPR, in particular through the use of standard contractual clauses.

Data processing is carried out in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable regulations, including in Switzerland.

Data is kept for as long as the service is used, then archived in accordance with legal obligations.

Users have the right to access, rectify and erase their data, to object to its processing and to data portability. Any request may be sent to contact@wepiro.com.

Technical and organisational measures are implemented to ensure the security of the data.

In the event of a data breach likely to result in a risk to users' rights and freedoms, WEPIRO will notify the competent authority and the persons concerned in accordance with the regulations.

Account deletion

Users can delete their account at any time directly from the app, under “Settings” in their profile. Deletion is permanent and erases the data associated with the account, except data whose retention is required by law.

A deletion request can also be sent by email to contact@wepiro.com. It will be processed within a maximum of 30 days.

Cookies and trackers

The website wepiro.com uses two categories of trackers.

Cookie-free audience measurement. Vercel Analytics counts visits anonymously and in aggregate. No cookie is set, no data identifying a visitor is collected, and no cross-site tracking takes place. This tracker is exempt from consent under the guidelines of the CNIL (the French data protection authority).

Advertising audience measurement — subject to consent. The Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited) measures the effectiveness of advertising campaigns on Facebook and Instagram, and shows which channel a visitor came from. It sets cookies and sends data to Meta, which may be transferred outside the European Union on the basis of standard contractual clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

This tracker is only set after the user's explicit consent, given through the banner shown on the first visit. A refusal is recorded and respected: no advertising cookie is set. Consent can be withdrawn at any time via the “Manage cookies” link at the bottom of the home page, which displays the choice banner again.

Advertising audience measurement cookies are kept for no more than 13 months. Consent (or refusal) is kept for 6 months.

Complaints

Users have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: the CNIL in France, the Data Protection Authority in Belgium, the FDPIC in Switzerland, or the data protection authority of their country of residence.
